About this Project
This complex, multifaceted project required a high level of coordination and planning. Because the Armed Forces Military Recruitment Career Center serves all four branches of the military, we had to build not only to federal government specifications, but also to the specifications of each branch.
For this remodel, we brought in a local architect to help design the conversion of a multi-use retail space that wasn’t initially created for this application. We completely reconfigured the interior and exterior of this building; we added partition walls and installed plumbing, electric, lighting, heating and cooling, and even exterior signage and specialty window coating.
This meant that in managing the construction project, we communicated with representatives from each branch of the military to identify each branch’s needs and requirements, and we coordinated between them to develop a joint infrastructure incorporating utilities, Internet access, CC-TV, proprietary phone systems, and additional security measures.
This was a complete reuse, reconfiguration, and restructuring of the interior and exterior to meet the specific needs of the four branches of the military and the requirements of the federal government.
We truly enjoyed the complex and challenging nature of this project.
